Since many MOOCs are, in fact, free and open source, they can be a great resource for instructors putting together their own personal, individualized, dealing-with-individual-students–just-like-in-a-f2f-course online classes. Instructors have exchanged ideas and materials for as long as the teaching profession has existed. Open-source online materials make it possible to share far beyond your geographically immediate colleagues.
