The keynote speaker at the General Session of the TCCTA annual convention in Houston will address "Designing for Success."
Speaking to the group will be Michael Gough, vice president for experience design at Adobe—a company in the forefront of the digital revolution in communication. He is also the leader of the company's experience design team, an internal design practice focusing on the next generation of digitally enabled experiences.
Whatever format an instructor utilizes, today's teaching requires an orchestrated, coordinated plan of action. It requires new modes of thinking and unprecedented collaboration. The speaker will address the conceptual and practical issues involved in such a design, particularly in these times when student success is the paramount objective for policy makers around the country.
A longtime advocate for quality in all digital experiences, Mr. Gough has been pushing the digital envelope for years. Previously, he was the chief creative officer at Macromedia, vice president of brand design at Nike, the chief creative officer of Quokka Sports and the creative director of Construct.
Mr. Gough lives on a ranch in Northern California surrounded by family, horses, assorted farm animals, and "hills that seem to go on forever."
