Monday is the deadline to register to vote in the Nov. 2 General Election. If you have registered previously, you should have been sent a renewal card. Most individuals who need to re-register are those who have changed their address. Obviously, if you are relatively new to Texas, registration is a requirement in order to exercise the right to vote.

The race for governor is attracting the most media attention, but there are also a number of competitive races for the House and Senate—positions vitally imortant to community and technical college educators.
