The Texas Higher Education Coordinating Board conducts its quarterly meeting today in Austin. As always the agenda is lengthy. At this particular meeting, there will be much discussion of the new laws enacted in the most recent Regular Session of the Texas Legislature, which adjourned on June 1. The Closing the Gaps initiative, enrollment statistics, and agency funding issues will also be discussed.
